Learn the basics skills and techinques of smocking while creating an art piece suitable for today's fashion that will also be a treasure throughout the ages to come. You will make you very own heirloom using elegant stitches by machine, using fancy trims, beautiful fabrics and applying special effects. Swiss cotton batiste will be used as the base, then enhanced with entredeux laces, pintucking, wing needle stitches and many other heirloom techniques. Sit and Sew. Kit Required.
